Death in the Legion…

It is my sad duty to inform, that Aaron .. aka “Drelnza” of the Legion of Kithicor.. passed away thursday, the 21st of January, apparently, of a heart attack. We met Aaron in real life, at the Fan Faire in 2009 and took to him immediately, he and Elquin became fast friends and obviously we’re all taking this loss hard.. Please leave any notes or well-wishes here, at Kithicor.org.

I met him in RL at Fan Faire and he touched my life. We hung out together and got lots of hugs. The EQ2 community is a little poorer for his passing. He will be greatly missed. <3 u Drel
Drelnza was one of the best players I’ve ever grouped with – dedicated, talented and willing to take on any challenge (repeatedly) regardless of the debt or repair bills. All of that pails in comparison to Aaron as a person though. He was one of my very best friends in EQ2. Some days I’d log in just to hang out in the guild hall and chat with him. He could be a moody pain-in-the-butt sometimes and he never shied away from saying what he thought, but that’s what I loved about him. I’ll miss him so much.
I wasn’t in the Legion at the time of Fan Faire this year, but that face certainly seems familiar. I also didn’t have much opportunity to hunt with Drelnza or alts either — but from listening to past podcasts, I know how much Elquinjena was encouraged to keep striving for her mythical weapon by Drelnza. They say people will know you by your works — and Drelnza’s works were mighty in many ways. I am saddened by this loss.
Going to miss having you around Drel, was always a pleasure to have you with us in the groups, also helping me make fun of Ardwen and all. Gonna miss you Bud. Take care and Sleep peacefuly. Will leave you on friends list to always remember you. Your friend Jerry (aka) Acids/Meek
There are no words I can say to express how I feel, he’d been a friend since I met him in EQ2. My thoughts and prayers to his family.
My condolences to everyone in his RL and in-game families. Such sad news for one that should have been on Earth (and Norrath)for many years to come. May his memory be held in the hearts of all that beheld him.

as Drel the best fun we had was when he would turn Uilleam into a rust monster, because they made cute noises and it bugged uiileam to be one hehe
we had a blast at fan faire together and I will hold the memories close.
He taught me alot in game to make my ranger the best she could be.
outside of game he was a friend…and I will miss him so very very much
I only knew Lil for a short time in Arcane Masters but what a great impression he will leave on me. I’ll never forget all the help and encouragement he gave me. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends, he will be dearly missed

I really don’t know what I want to say here. I’m simply too heartsick to put together the right words… Words that can express all that Aaron was to the people he touched both in-game and in real life.
In the past few years, I joined him in the effort towards exploring many different worlds and in the process got to know him in real life as well.
I just don’t have the right words….

We give thanks for so much respect, love and faith which was so freely offered.
I knew him from my days in Arcane Masters quite some time ago, he always had a great sense of grumpy humor, kind of reminded me of myself in that respect which is why I remember him. I lost touch with him in game and was shocked to read this today.
He will be missed.

We knew each other in game for a while now, and had only just met last Fan Faire in RL. He will be missed greatly. My thoughts are with his family and friends in this tough time.
