Aibohphobia is the fear of palindromes, which is a palindrome (same backward as forward) itself.

Now all we need is Wierd Al’s Palindrome song, “BoB”

After you destroyed your mouse with a hammer during a podcast — why should I think “Dammit I’m Mad” is unusual for you to say? Hehehehehe…

Yay! Congratulations Cheddarella! Indeed, Aibohphobia IS a Palindrome, which is a word spelled the same forward as backward.. a clue should have been “Dammit I’m Mad” is.. a palindrome.

Aibohphobia is the fear of palindromes, at least that is what I remember from the good old school days!

Nope.. Tried slightly cheating.. Asking my wife.. But she doesn’t know it either without looking it up.

Um, after scrambling letters of many things in Norrath, I start looking at any new word or name with a certain … suspicion. The "normal" thing to do when looking at a "phobia" word is to detach the first part and see what Greek (or occasionally, Latin) root word it might be. But "aiboh" is a strange construction, especially with the "h" — so I did the "look at it frontwards, backwards, and upside-down" trick. Backwards: "hobia" — hmmm, looks like part of "phobia"…. hey, this word is a palindrome (reads the same, forward and back). So, ILlogically, would it be a "fear of palindromes"?
