VOTING IS OVER! wow, it was a dead heat to the very end.. congratulations to NyteFyre, who won 40 to 39!

Considering that we only had two contestants, and the vote was so close, I will be giving Tylia a consolation prize from the EQ2 Swag Box!  So grats to you both!

OK, we did something similar to this last year..

Design a movie poster, original or parody an existing.  EverQuest II inspired.  The winner of the contest will receive a 30 days play for Free for EverQuest or EverQuest II (pre-paid game card, no cash value).

But, Jethal.. I can’t design anything, I don’t have Photoshop or Print Shop!!  No problem, check out FakeMoviePoster.com to generate your own poster from a few pre-made templates.

  • Contest runs from July 15 2011 until July 25 2011
  • Prize will be in the form of an Activation Code for 30 days of game time
  • **Just added** Winner will also recieve a Community Ale Mug from Sony Online (Thanks Brasse!)
  • Winner will be announced on July 26th on the Jethal Silverwing Show

    Well, guess this contest depends on who you can get to vote for you and how many friends you have. Not originality and concept. Lets make it more fair next time. Other than that, don’t see the point if you only depend on friends to vote for you. Great maybe if you can make people vote, but please, didn’t realize this was popularity contest. And yes, I’m close to Tylia if you have not figured that out.

      I’m not going to remove your comment, because I believe everyone should have a voice, even if I don’t agree with it.. but I’ll voice my own opinion and say that your statement is one of being a sore loser (by proxy) and in bad taste. As stated, in the post, Tylia will be getting a prize as well, #1 due to the closeness of the voting, and #2 because I liked both entries. Also, if I were Tylia, I would be personally embarrassed that one of my friends made such a comment.

        I was going to say more, but this is a waste of time. See many sites like yours and popularity is the basis of most of them.

        Btw, Tylia is my wife and she backs me up on what I said. She said keep your consolation prize, she will never enter another one of your contest again since you did not state winning depends on popularity.

          I’m sorry you didn’t understand how our contests work. Every contest I’ve ever had is put up to a public vote, that way there is no bias on my part, in case a personal friend makes an entry. Tylia did an excellent job on the poster and I do welcome her to try again next time.
