Now, a word from Smokejumper

Our glorious EverQuest II Producer, Dave “Smokejumper” Georgeson, released a note titled The Future of EQII in 2011.  In basics, we’re looking forward to the following:

  • More and Bigger things with Destiny of Velious
  • The Norrathian Deities will be screwing with us
  • Behind the Scenes upgrades, including design improvements and promises of improving the Graphics Engine.

Last, and certainly not least..

  • The city of Freeport will be undergoing a huge revamp, including combining the city proper to a single zone, flying areas and “Making Evil Exciting” again.  (don’t worry, Qeynos’s revamp will come soon after)

    Ah Finally the cities get glued back together like i was told it was in early beta. To me i think it would be nice if the graphics engine would support having qeynos as part of antonica, same for freeport > CL. No zoning.
