Guidelines for Posting to the LOK Message Boards:
Everyone is welcome to post messages on the public LOK message board. Events, questions, concerns and ideas may be posted on the appropriate board. We ask that you only post your message once in the appropriate board. There are both IC and OOC public boards, each one has a description please follow the description for what best suits your post.
Please observe the following standards when posting messages:
- Although we respect everyone’s rights to Free Speech, the practice known as “Flaming” is not allowed under any circumstances.
- Please keep all posts on topic regarding Everquest, EverQuest 2, Role-Play or Online Gaming.
- Please respect everyone’s opinion. If you disagree, disagree agreeable.
- Please refrain from slurs or swears. Unless of course it has exclusive IC context on IC boards.
- Please remember that IC is IC and OOC is OOC. If something is said In Character that is derogatory regarding someone’s character or group, please remember that it is the characters opinion, not necessarily that of the players opinion.
- IC boards should not be used to defame or maliciously malign someone’s character for OOC reasons. OOC posts should be just that Out Of Character discussions, please do not confuse the two IC and OOC.
- Please gain the permission of all parties involved in your IC story or plot lines BEFORE publishing the story to the boards. No one likes a power poser.
- Please refrain from posting OOC messages about the internal politics machinations or operations of other Guilds, Groups, or individuals.
- Please maintain maturity when posting messages and keep in mind the concepts of good conduct when posting, even if you are not a member.
- Items that are or go off topic are politely requested to take it to email or some other non_LOK message board.
- Messages posted on the Members Only boards may not be reproduced or copied onto public boards with malicious intent.
The Administrators of this site reserves the right to remove posts, restrict individual ability to post, or restrict boards to certain topics. All posted material becomes the property of the Administrators, and may be reproduced at their discretion. We reserve the right to do this without prior notice or warning to any individual or group. The Administrators of this site are the final voice on what is or is not appropriate, malicious or derogatory.
