Freddy’s Back in this retelling of the 1984 Classic horror movie “A Nightmare on Elm Street”.
There have been alot of 80′s movie remakes lately, so I went into the theater hoping for good.. but ready for a flop. I have to say honestly, that I wasn’t disappointed. With the exception of a bit of back-story and a few modernizations thrown in, this was pretty much what I had expected – and it was fairly well done at that.
If you are a fan of the original Nightmare on Elm Street, you’ll enjoy this retelling.. however, if you have been spoiled by the NoES #3+ sequels.. you will find fault.. this is a serious story with no “camp” humor and (that i could see) no homages to the original.
